A DOG'S PURPOSE at the Festival Drayton Centre

When a dog discovers he is reborn multiple times, he begins searching for purpose in each of his varied lives.

For Bailey, there has always been one big question – what is the meaning of life? We all wrestle with this question at some point, and so it's not too unusual... Except for the fact that Bailey is a dog. And, even stranger – every time he takes his very last breath and says goodbye to one owner, he is reborn as a new dog into a completely different life.

Who says only cats get nine lives? From being the faithful companion that guides Ethan into manhood as Bailey, and onto a new life as a crime-fighting female police dog – each chapter in this unusual existence offers a new lesson. But how does it all add up? And, why does food always taste so much better in the trash?

A Dog's Purpose is a tail-wagging treat of a film, and offers an interesting new angle on the canine buddy drama genre.
