THE GRINCH at the Festival Drayton Centre

The big green grump returns to our screens with a plot to ruin Christmas for the townspeople of Whoville. Voiced by big screen legend Benedict Cumberbatch, this brand-new reimagining of Dr. Seuss’ beloved classic is the perfect pre-Christmas watch for all of the family.

The Grinch hates everything. He hates happy songs and happy people. He hates helping and kindness and friendship. But more than anything else, he hates Christmas.

Living in Mt. Crumpet with his only friend Max – his loving dog – The Grinch enjoys a solitary life, only venturing into Whoville to buy food (and wreak some havoc on the townsfolk). But every Christmas, the Whos creep into his solitary haven by disrupting his silence with loud celebrations of goodwill to all men. This year, The Grinch has had enough. With a plan to ruin Christmas once and for all, The Grinch aims to disrupt the unsuspecting Whos huge celebration. What The Grinch doesn't plan for, however, is one little Who, who interrupts his plans with her own...

The Grinch is a beautifully animated 3D take on Dr. Seuss' classic children's tale, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The Grinch is a future family classic that's certain to entertain everyone from the kids to the grandparents.
