Ashley Art Group

Tuesday 30th May

- Friday 30th June

Ashley Art Group exhibition at the Festival Drayton Centre

Ashley Art Group was started in February 2022 by your local artist Tania Paling Sparkes of and Instagram

Tania says, "There was a definite need in our community for art to actually be taught. Throughout lockdown many people have embraced art as a mindful and fun activity. I am making art accessible to all, I have a positive approach which based on 32 years of  experience teaching Art and Textiles.  AAG is a great success and all are welcome."

Elaine, "If you told me when we started in February that I would be able to draw my own portrait in a few months’ time I would not have believed you. I am much more confident now and I do some art every day as I enjoy it so much”.

Rod, "Just focusing on one thing for a couple of hours without any interruptions is brilliant. I don't think about work or anything else, it is calming and I'm less stressed at the end, I do not like to miss a class."

Tania has designed a creative curriculum for AAG including still life arrangements covering a range of skills and life drawing.  She has many more exciting Art sessions planned to develop students’ skills further, no matter what their ability.
