Josh Sedgley

Wednesday 2nd January

- Monday 28th January

Josh Sedgley exhibition at the Festival Drayton Centre

I have previously completed a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography & Digital Imaging at Newcastle-under-Lyme College.I am currently specialising in fine art landscape and nature photography, although I also undertake commissions for pet and portrait photography.

British author Adam Hamdy has commissioned me twice and I have also photographed several cabinet level politicians. I have worked alongside Jamie Ricketts, Rob Smith and Steve Leath from local newspaper 'The Shropshire Star'. On one of these shoots I also met local TV personality Nick Hancock. My portfolio has been selected for 'The Three Counties' Exhibitions in 2017 and 2018 and my image 'Snowfall' also won The Peoples' Poll at The 116 Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent.

Three of my images were voted as Top Ten entries by the general public participating in The Countryfile Magazine Winter Photo Competition with 'Highland Cow in Winnington' getting the most votes and being judged the overall winner. In December 2018 three of my images from Joule's Brewery were shortlisted in the EEF Manufacturing Competition and I was delighted that one went on to win the best youth entry in the Manufacturing Process Category.

I have produced Market Drayton's 2019 Calendar using local images.
