What is Qigong?
Qigong is the foundation behind the various methods of tradition Chinese health care. Typically, people associate Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with acupuncture, herbal remedies, tai-chi, massage, meditation, moxibustion and Qigong. Behind all these methods the common denominator is Qi. Qi is often misunderstood as meaning energy, which is only part of the story.
Qigong in some form has been in existence for over 4,000 years and there are many school Daoist, Confucian, Martial Arts, Medical..etc each with a different interpretation of the founding methodology. Zhineng Qigong is a relatively modern form developed in the 1980s which amalgamates many different aspects of various forms to provide simple but effective method to all practitioners to support body & mind to regain health and strengthen vitality.
