BUTTERFLY TALE (U)

Tuesday 28th May

Starring: Tatiana Maslany Mena Massoud & Tristan D. Lalla
Approx. running time (inc. adverts): Approx 98 mins

BUTTERFLY TALE at the Festival Drayton Centre

A pair of rival butterflies form an unlikely friendship.

Butterfly Tale is set along the diverse, picturesque and ever-changing backdrop of the milkweed highway. A coming of age animated feature film for the whole family. It’s the heartwarming tale of a gutsy and loveable yet inept, one-winged teen monarch butterfly, Patrick, who stows away on the migration with his best friend, a goofy caterpillar named Marty, and a sharp tongued Jennifer. Patrick will become an unlikely hero, but first he must face his fear, embrace his uniqueness and triumph over adversity - all while battling the elements, eluding evil and hungry crows bent on revenge and averting certain disaster during the hazardous Monarch migration. It is a tale of adventure, romance and heroism told with humour whose message is that our differences are less important than the bonds we share and it is in adversity that our true character shines through.
