Following his stunning performance of Liszt’s B minor sonata, Nikita returns with Mussorgsky’s celebrated piano suite ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’. Reversing the creative process, a group of local artists have taken inspiration from Mussorgsky’s music and created pictures which will be projected as Nikita plays.

The programme will also include selections from Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty suite and his 18 pieces for piano, Op 72, as featured on Nikita’s album acclaimed for “extraordinary breadth and freedom of imagination” by Gramophone magazine.
